Isn’t the gift basket, featured in JoonAng Daily, a pretty arrangement?
It’s a special occasion basket made in Seoul, Korea, to celebration the Lunar New Year.
The accompanying text provides more information, though the description may not exactly match what’s in the photo.
“Selections include the Deluxe Hamper with two bottles of red wine, the Special Hamper of chocolates and gourmet deli items, the Wine Hamper with red and white wines, cheese and salami and the Sweets Hamper with homemade sweets including cakes, cookies and chocolates.”
The collar frame around the basket’s rim resembles the cloth tissue paper I’ve shown in gift baskets while conducting seminars at numerous trade shows. This tissue is much easier to handle versus traditional tissue paper that tears easily.
I was first introduced to cloth tissue paper at AmericasMart Atlanta, where I saw it displayed by an exhibitor. You can read about it at the bottom of this show report.
The cloth tissue I saw was available in a rainbow of colors. Thankfully, you can now purchase it through many wholesale suppliers. Look for it at a trade show near you.
What’s your opinion of this gift basket? What new or renewed ideas does it give you for your own designs?
